Terms of service

The service

VendFeed is a Discord application, developed by Digital Den, that reads a Tebex webstore through the public part of the Tebex API and posts announcements about it into Discord channels you choose. It is hosted and run by Digital Den, so there is nothing for you to install or keep online.

Provided as-is

VendFeed is provided as-is, with no warranty and no uptime guarantee. It depends on two services outside our control, Discord and Tebex, and an outage or a change in either can stop announcements arriving. Announcements can also be delayed, duplicated or missed. Do not rely on VendFeed as your only record of what changed in your store.

Every announcement carries “Details shown as of posting” in its footer for this reason: a Discord message is permanent and a store is not. The store itself is always the authority on current prices and availability.

Your store, your copy

You are responsible for what your own store contains. VendFeed reproduces the package names, descriptions, images and prices your store publishes, and it is your responsibility that publishing them in your Discord server is lawful and appropriate for your community.

You are also responsible for having the right to add a given store: only add a webstore token that belongs to you or that you are authorised to use.

Acceptable use

• Do not use VendFeed to break the Discord Terms of Service, the Discord Community Guidelines, or Tebex’s own terms.
• Do not attempt to use it to reach a channel you cannot post in yourself.
• Do not attempt to evade store allowances, usage limits or the permission checks.

Access may be withdrawn from a server that does any of these.

Plans

The free tier tracks 1 store per server. A paid plan is planned for larger setups; its limits and price are not settled, and nothing is on sale today.

When it does launch it will be bought inside Discord through Premium Apps, which means Discord handles the transaction, holds the payment state, and is the source of truth for whether a subscription is active. Refunds and billing questions would therefore be Discord’s to handle under their own terms.

Plan limits are configurable and may change. If a server’s allowance ever drops below what it already holds, existing stores keep running and nothing is deleted; adding another is refused until it is back under the cap.

Either party can stop

You can stop at any time by running /tebex remove and removing the bot from your server. We can stop offering the service, or withdraw it from a particular server, at any time. Removing a store deletes its stored snapshot, as described in the privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Digital Den is not liable for any loss arising from use of VendFeed, including lost sales from a missed, delayed or inaccurate announcement.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them. Continuing to use VendFeed after that means accepting the updated terms.

Contact

The Discord support server, which is the only support route VendFeed offers. There is no ticket queue, no contact form and no address to write to.
