A Discord message is permanent and a store is not. Rather than quietly let an old price look current, every card says when its values were read. The footer separator is a bullet, and the note in front of it names the event: New package, Price drop, Goal reached, Removed from the store, Leaving the store soon.
A card you post by hand has no note, so its footer reads only “Details shown as of posting”.

It will not fill your channel with copies
Neither display posts a fresh message unless Discord confirms the old one has actually been deleted. If an update simply fails, it waits and tries the same message again.
Setup
Three steps, and the second one matters
The API Keys page shows your private key right next to your public token. Only the public one is wanted, and only the public one will be accepted.
Invite the bot
Discord asks you to approve View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links. Nothing else, and there is nothing to install or host.
Run /tebex add with your public token
The value labelled Public Token, from Integrations then API Keys in your Creator Panel. The command replies privately, so the token never lands in a channel other people can read.
Pick a channel
Choose which feed goes where. Nothing is posted until you do. Then run /tebex preview to see a real announcement privately before anything goes public.
This is the right value
Identify it by the label rather than by what it starts with. Prefixes differ between stores, so a token that looks nothing like somebody else’s can still be the right one.
Public Token
The key used to access any public facing APIs. This token is allowed to be shared publicly if required to do so by the API integration.
Private Key
The key used to access any APIs that require authorisation. This key should never be shared publicly.
The value above is an example. Prefixes differ between stores, so go by the field label rather than by the first few characters. If you have never generated a private key, that row shows a Generate button and no value at all, so there is nothing there to copy by mistake.
The public token grants nothing a shopper visiting your store cannot already do. It reads your listings and it can start a basket. It cannot see your revenue, your customers, your payment details or your settings, it cannot change anything, and it cannot be used to issue a refund or a command. The private key is the one that does all of that, and VendFeed neither asks for it nor accepts it.

The constraint is the point
VendFeed asks for the least it can and still do the job. Here is exactly what that means.
Verified by Discord
The application carries Discord's verified check, which means Discord has confirmed who runs it. That is the tick you see on the APP tag next to the bot's name in your server.
Public token only
VendFeed reads your store through the public part of the Tebex API, using your store's public webstore token. It never asks for, accepts or stores a Tebex secret key.
It cannot read your messages
Discord does not give VendFeed access to your messages, your member list, or who is online. That is not a setting we could quietly change later, the access is simply not there.
Nothing is posted until you set a channel
Every feed is off by default, and each one gets its own channel. Nothing appears anywhere you did not ask for.
Customer identifiers are dropped
Only the display name your store already publishes on its own public sidebar is rendered. Identifiers returned by the API are discarded.
Removing a store deletes its snapshot
Run /tebex remove and the stored copy of your catalogue goes with it.

Penalties scale with how much of the catalogue is affected
One bad package out of eighty is not scored like eighty out of eighty. The score always lands between 0 and 100, so a thoroughly broken store bottoms out rather than running off the scale.
It also lists which optional Tebex sidebar modules are off, and what turning each one on would unlock.
The description check is a band, not a floor
A wall of marketing copy is a worse card than a thin one, because it pushes the price and the button off the first screen. Length is measured after the HTML is flattened, which is not what the Tebex editor’s own character count shows.

Commands
Open to everyone, or locked to the people who run the store
Closed unless you qualify. A member can run these only if they have Administrator, have Manage Server, or hold the store-manager role the server chose. The same check covers the suggestions that appear as you type, and if it cannot be completed the command is refused rather than allowed.
/tebex postDrops the exact card the feed produces into any channel. Start typing a package name, pick it from the list, optionally add a line of text above it. The package is read fresh from your store as you post it, because a message in Discord is permanent.
/tebex previewRenders a real announcement privately, so you can confirm the link button works before anything goes public.
/store top, recent, goalsOpen to every member. These show only what your store already publishes on its own public sidebar, and nothing that identifies a customer beyond the display name shown there.
Hand the bot to a role with no other power
Store management can go to a role that has nothing else in the server. Only an Administrator can set that role, so a store manager cannot widen their own circle, and the role is cleared automatically if the bot is removed.
Prices can be hidden per store
Default is shown. Hidden mode still announces everything, it just moves the number to the storefront: a sale posts the percentage off instead of the amounts, delistings drop the “was” price, and the live panel says “on sale” without figures.

Built to be a quiet neighbour
On your Discord server, and on the store it reads from.
A broken store is paused, never deleted
Your settings are kept, and whoever added the bot gets one DM with the cause and the command that undoes it. Only your store actually turning VendFeed away counts toward pausing, so a timeout or a temporary blip just retries later.
Checked every 5 minutes, at worst every 30
Five minutes to start with, easing out as more stores are tracked, and never longer than half an hour. Scan times are nudged apart so stores added in the same minute do not all read at once.
Gentle on your store
Reads are spaced out and never overlap, a full set of feeds costs at most three per scan, and the live displays cost none. If Tebex ever asks VendFeed to slow down, it eases off everywhere rather than pushing again.

If a server’s allowance ever drops below what it already holds, existing stores keep running and nothing is deleted. Adding another is refused until it is back under the cap.
FAQ
The questions a cautious store owner asks first
What does beta mean here?
Every feature described on this site is built and working. Beta means the bot is early in its life, so behaviour can still change between releases and you may be the first person to hit a given edge case. Nothing about it is a trial: there is no time limit, no feature held back, and no plan to take anything away from the free tier. If something misbehaves, the support server is the fastest route to getting it looked at.
How is this different from Tebex's own Discord integration?
They do different jobs. Tebex's own webhook and Discord bot are pointed at your orders: a purchase happens, a role is assigned, a message goes to a channel you watch. VendFeed is pointed at your catalogue instead, and at your community rather than at you. It announces what changed in the store itself, new packages, price drops, goals, delistings and server status, in whichever channels your members already read. Nothing stops you running both.
Do you need my Tebex secret key?
No. VendFeed only ever uses your public webstore token, the value labelled Public Token on the API Keys page of your Creator Panel. Tebex itself says that value is allowed to be shared publicly where an integration needs it. The private key sitting next to it is never needed and will not be accepted. Go by the label rather than by what the value starts with, because prefixes differ between stores.
Can it read my server's messages?
No. Discord does not give VendFeed access to your messages, your member list, or who is online. It is not a setting that has been switched off, the access is simply not there.
Is there anything to install or host?
No. VendFeed is hosted and run by Digital Den as a single shared bot, so there is nothing to download, deploy, configure or keep online. Adding it to your server and running one command is the whole job.
What permissions does it need?
View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links. Nothing else.
Will it spam my server?
Every feed is off until you set a channel for it, each feed posts to its own channel, and posts are capped per scan with the remainder reported rather than dumped.
How quickly will something appear?
Stores are scanned every 5 minutes by default, scaling with load up to a 30 minute maximum.
Can a non-admin manage it?
Yes. An Administrator can hand one role the whole bot with /tebex managerrole without giving that role any other power in the server.
Does it query my game server?
No. Tebex resolves server status itself and publishes it on the store sidebar, so there is no outbound query to your game server at all.
What happens if my store goes down?
The feed pauses rather than deletes. Your settings are kept and whoever added the bot gets one DM explaining how to resume. Only your store actually turning VendFeed away counts toward pausing, so a timeout or a temporary blip just retries later.
Does it work with multiple stores?
Yes. One server can track several stores subject to its allowance, and each store has its own channels and settings.
How do I get support?
In the Digital Den Discord server, which is the only support route VendFeed has. There is no contact form, no ticket queue and no support email. Questions, bug reports and release notes all live in one place anyone can read and search, which is faster than an inbox and means an answer helps the next person too. You do not have to join to use the bot.
