Both are built from the scan the bot already did, so how often they refresh has no bearing on how often your store is read.
Featured rotation

It will not fill your channel with copies
Neither display posts a fresh message unless Discord confirms the old one has actually been deleted. If an update simply fails, it waits and tries the same message again.
Post by hand
/tebex post drops the exact card the feed produces
Start typing a package name, pick it from the list Discord offers you, optionally add a line of text above it. Leave the channel blank to post where you ran the command.
Read live at post time
The package you pick is read fresh from your store as you post it, because a message in Discord is permanent and the last scan could be up to half an hour old. If your store does not answer, it uses the values from that scan and tells you so, rather than quietly posting a price that has moved.
It cannot be used to reach a private channel
Whoever runs it must be able to see and post in the target channel themselves.
No footer note
An automatic feed post carries a note naming the event. A card posted by hand has none, so its footer reads only “Details shown as of posting”. That is the difference in the example on the right.

Penalties scale with how much of the catalogue is affected, so one bad package out of eighty is not scored like eighty out of eighty. The score always lands between 0 and 100, so a thoroughly broken store bottoms out rather than running off the scale.
It also lists which optional Tebex sidebar modules are off and what turning each one on would unlock.

Price visibility
Prices on embeds can be toggled per store, and the default is shown. Hidden mode still announces everything, it just moves the number to the storefront: a sale posts the percentage off instead of the amounts, delistings drop the “was” price, and the live panel says “on sale” without figures.
Community goal totals and the top customer figure are unaffected, because those are aggregate community numbers rather than a price list.
Link styles
Tebex webstores differ in what they can deep link to, so setup asks which to use: straight to the package, to the package’s category, or to the store front page. The setup reply echoes an example URL, and the chain falls back package to category to front page rather than emitting a dead button.
Delegation
Store management can be handed to a role that has no other power in the server. Only an Administrator can set that role, so a store manager cannot widen their own circle, and the role is cleared automatically if the bot is removed from the server.
Currency
Amounts are formatted from your store’s own currency code, so a Canadian store renders CA$24.99 and a European one €24.99, not a bare dollar sign.

Descriptions
Tebex serves descriptions as HTML. VendFeed flattens that to text, so paragraphs and list items become line breaks and bullets, then budgets it to 600 characters so the price and the button are not buried. Discord itself shows only around the first 350 before a read-more fold on mobile.
Public lookups
Top customer, recent purchases and community goal progress are open to every member. They show only what your store already publishes on its own public sidebar, and nothing that identifies a customer beyond the display name your store shows there.
